How to request deletion of your data from SetterFlo.

What Data Does SetterFlo Store?

When you use SetterFlo, we store the following types of data:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and profile details.
  • Instagram connection data: Your Instagram username, profile picture, and access tokens for the connected account.
  • Conversations and messages: Instagram DM conversations processed through our platform, including message content and metadata.
  • AI settings and configuration: Your AI persona settings, objection handling rules, quiet hours, blacklists, and other configuration.
  • Lead data: Information about leads identified through conversations, including qualification status and booking history.
  • Analytics: Aggregated performance data such as response rates, qualification rates, and booking counts.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data in two ways:

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to support@setterflo.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:

  • The email address associated with your SetterFlo account.
  • The Instagram username connected to your account (if applicable).

Option 2: Disconnect Instagram

You can disconnect your Instagram account from SetterFlo at any time through your dashboard Settings page. This triggers our deauthorisation process, which schedules deletion of your Instagram-related data.

What Gets Deleted

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete:

  • Your account information and login credentials.
  • All stored conversations and message data.
  • Your AI settings and configuration.
  • Lead data and qualification records.
  • Instagram connection data and access tokens.

What Is Not Deleted

  • Anonymised analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained for product improvement.
  • Legal and financial records: Payment records and data required for regulatory compliance are retained as required by law.

Timeline

We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Meta Deauthorisation Callback

If you remove SetterFlo from your Instagram account via Instagram or Facebook settings, Meta sends us a deauthorisation callback. When we receive this callback, we automatically:

  • Stop all AI-assisted responses for your account immediately.
  • Revoke our access tokens.
  • Schedule deletion of your Instagram-related data within 30 days.
